I'm starting a master's degree
If you have obtained a first bachelor's degree of the long type, you have automatic access (in accordance with article 114 of the Paysage decree) to second cycle studies.
If you have obtained a first bachelor's degree of the short type, under certain conditions, you can access the second cycle:
- If you have obtained a short bachelor's degree and wish to continue your studies to obtain a master's degree:
- access between the bachelor's degree obtained and the master's degree envisaged must be provided for in the list of automatic access defined by the decree of the Government of the French Community of 30 August 2017 ;
- additional credits will be required depending on the previous course. The range of the minimum and maximum number of credits that can be added to your programme is defined in the same decree. It is up to the institutions to set the additional credits.
- If you have an advanced bachelor’s degree, you can take a master's degree by adding additional credits to your course of study (in accordance with article 111 of the Paysage Decree).
