Can I change or cancel my enrolment?
You can cancel your enrolment or change study programme/institution under certain conditions. Here is a summary of the possibilities and conditions.
If you request cancellation of your enrolment before 1st December of the current academic year, your enrolment will be cancelled. Only the €50 fee will be payable. The current year will not count towards your higher education curriculum.
If you request cancellation of your enrolment after 1st December, you will have dropped out. Dropping out of studies is categorised as a fail, i.e., no credits are counted for the student’s higher education annual programme for the current year
Keep also in mind that all tuition fees remain due. You can only enrol again at a later time in a higher-education institution on condition that all fees for this enrolment have been paid (there will therefore be two enrolments to pay).
If you wish to change course/institution between 1 October and 31 October, this will not be considered as a reorientation.
If you wish to change institution or your study programme between 1 November and 15 February, this will be considered as a reorientation, but without payment of additional registration fees.
Please note the requirements regarding this reorientation request:
- the request must be justified and approved by the jury of the cycle to which you wish to transfer;
- in the event you are denied admission, you can appeal in accordance with the procedures set out in article 96 of the "landscape" decree;
- in the event of a favourable decision by the host establishment, it will inform the original establishment of the change.
