What is the deadline for enrolment?
The deadline for enrolment applications, including payment of enrolment fees, is the same for all institutions and is 30 September.
It is important to bear in mind that in most courses, compulsory activities and even evaluations are scheduled from 1st October. If you are not enrolled by this time, you will not be able to take part in these compulsory activities, which will mean that the teaching units concerned will not be validated for the academic year.
It is therefore strongly recommended that you respect the registration deadline to ensure that you can take part in all the activities required for your course. Make sure you submit your application on time and pay the registration fee to avoid any inconvenience.
What's more, some curricula are covered by the decree on programmes subject to quotas for which the enrolment deadline may be different.
Enrolment after 30 September are exceptional and subject to special circumstances:
- In the event an evaluation period is extended due to force majeure, enrolment is possible through 30 November1.
- If the school authorities give their consent for justified reasons, you may enrol after 30 September, but your request must be made no later than 15 February2.
- Enrolment after 30 September is also possible if you are enrolling in a 3rd cycle3.
A special case concerns adult education institutions, where enrolments are accepted throughout the year, as and when teaching units open. Enrolments are possible up to the first tenth of each course.
Don't forget to refer to the specific instructions of the establishment where you wish to enrol to find out the deadlines that apply to your particular course.
