Advanced studies
Have you already obtained your bachelor's or master's degree and would like to specialise in a specific field? Do you want to work in a regulated profession, such as healthcare?
If so, you may be interested in advanced studies! These complement a short or long degree and enable you to obtain another bachelor's or master's degree, known as a "advanced".
Advanced bachelor's degrees are awarded at higher education establishments, art schools or adult education institutions.

Preparatory work for a doctoral thesis and doctorate
If you want to go into research and develop expertise in a field, you can also consider postgraduate studies after completing your master's degree (120 credits). This includes doctoral courses and the preparation of a doctoral thesis.
These programmes take place within university research teams, and for art studies, in close collaboration with art colleges. At the end, you can obtain a research training certificate or, after defending your thesis, the title of doctor and a PhD degree, which is only awarded by a university.
